Community Programs Director

Institute of Postcolonial Studies

An exciting opportunity to support the transition of the Institute of Postcolonial Studies (IPCS) into an intellectual and community hub, which fosters collaborations and projects that centre Indigenous sovereignties and cultivate transnational anti-colonial and ant-racist solidarities.

About IPCS

IPCS is an autonomous public education, research, and creative project, now led by First Nations scholars and community organisers and supported by a community of diasporic and racialised scholars, artists, and activists.

Established in 1996, the Institute of Postcolonial Studies (IPCS) is dedicated to interrogating colonial relations shaping what we now know as Australia and the world at large. IPCS holds an unwavering commitment to intellectual and creative work that advances anti-colonial and anti-racist perspectives and struggles.

IPCS works with diverse modes of engagement, including research and creative work, performance, political education, publications, collective inquiry, and discussion.
