Inner Sydney Regional Council for Social Development trading as Inner Sydney Voice is focused on changing the local systems that lead to social and financial disadvantage including those living in poverty. We are a social development organisation with a strong legacy and a contemporary regional strategy to ensure an equal say for a fairer world.
We predominately work with people and communities across the City of Sydney, Waverley, Woollahra, Randwick, Inner West and Bayside local government areas.
The primary role of the Board of Directors is to provide effective governance of the organisation. Directors approve and monitor the strategic direction, provide sound financial management and ensure statutory compliance, guiding and supporting the Executive Officer and the rest of the team.
Our social development priorities focus on the development of suburbs, loneliness and social isolation, poverty, civic participation and community worker wellbeing.

The Board meets bi- monthly and there are many opportunities to get involved with Committees (e.g., publication team) and campaigns and events based on your interest and time.
