KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Delivery:

  • Guide men to critically reflect on their behaviour, attitudes, and beliefs in intimate partner relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with the Female Behaviour Intervention Facilitator to deliver the Positive Choices, Safer Families Intervention program.
  • Identify and communicate risks during group sessions, ensuring the safety of all participants.

Organisational Responsibilities:

  • Meet reporting obligations of Men’s Behaviour Intervention Program promptly.
  • Deliver inclusive and culturally sensitive services to clients.
  • Represent organisation at community events, enhancing program visibility.
  • Adhere to established accountability systems and professional standards.
  • Work within Domestic and Family Violence Services Practice Principles.
  • Comply with Perpetrator Intervention Services Requirements for effective intervention and rehabilitation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in the human services field.
  • Intermediate Facilitator experience and qualifications as outlined in Perpetrator Intervention Services Requirements.
  • Strong experience and skills in gender-based violence risk assessment, trauma-informed practice, crisis support, advocacy, and case management.
  • Current driver’s licence, Blue Card, Covid Vaccination (or medical exemption), and National Police Check upon successful offer.
