JDRF is the leading non-government funder of type 1 diabetes (T1D) research globally. We have a clear mission: to change lives today and tomorrow by accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to create a world without T1D, working to cure the condition, and improving lives until that happens.
We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time marketing and communications coordinator to join our marketing team. The coordinator will be a vital support to the marketing team of 4, to help deliver innovative, multi-channel campaigns across research, fundraising, community engagement, advocacy, and brand marketing.
The role will report to the Communications and Sponsorship Manager and is suited to someone early in their marketing career who is keen to be exposed to a full range of marketing and communications activities, designed to deliver meaningful change for the 125,000+ Australians living with T1D.
As the JDRF Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting and driving key programs, ensuring projects are delivered effectively and aiding the smooth running of all key activities.
This role will span all organisational focus areas and would suit a current or early career marketing/communications professional with an interest in health, not-for-profit marketing and advocacy.
Strong writing for multiple audiences and channels is essential and knowledge of marketing channels and tools e.g., email marketing, content management, social and CRM preferred.
While reporting to the Communications and Sponsorship Manager, you will work closely with the entire marketing team and have access to teams across the JDRF organisation.
This role has the opportunity for learning and development via the JDRF marketing team and external communications partners.
If you want to take the next step in your marketing career, and continue to learn and develop, all while helping to tackle a serious health issue - we would love to hear from you.
