VACRO is an independent non-profit organisation working with people caught in the criminal justice system and their families. Founded in 1872, we are Victoria’s oldest and only specialised criminal justice reintegration service. We provide reintegration, family, and employment support that enables people to create new beginnings for themselves and their families.
Working within Beechworth prison and occasional travel to Dhurringile Prison, you will support clients with diverse and complex needs nearing their exit from prison as well as plan and facilitate small group and individual sessions designed to support reintegration. An ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships coupled with timely recording of data will be essential to your success in this role. Clients may include Serious Violent or Sex Offender (SVoSO) prisoners and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

This role is classified at Level 5 (pay point dependent on qualifications and experience) of the SCHADS 2010 Award.
