The Opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated leader to join our team as the Incubation Lead in the Top End.
- Create Impact Daily: Empower remote Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander entrepreneurs. Design and oversee delivery of annual Leadership Camp to connect, inspire and upskill current cohort, alumni, and future participants
- Engage and Build Relationships: Excellent stakeholder management and navigating stakeholder relationships.
- Develop and Lead Programs: Organise events, programs, and activities to support community growth, connection, and skill development. Ensure all program design, delivery and reviews are conducted with respect for local cultural perspectives, practices and interests
- Raise Awareness: Promote our work and engage the community through conversations, campaigns, marketing, and more
- Manage Brand Presence: Oversee online and offline marketing and communications, with support from a third-party agency and a Business Trainee
About You
- Creativity and Passion: Ability to create opportunities for entrepreneurs. Creative and forward-thinking, with a passion for project management
- Ability to identify, execute and support the opportunity for employment and training for Indigenous facilitators/field support and coaches in the delivery of the program
- Cultural Competence: Deep respect for and understanding of Indigenous cultures, traditions, and perspectives.
- Empathy: Listen for needs and insights from stakeholders
- Organisational Skills: Attention to detail
- Program design, delivery and evaluation experience: Thorough understanding of program delivery techniques and methods; High Level strategic and operational problem anticipation and solving skills; High level ability to apply theoretical knowledge and experience to practical situations and undertake research, analysis and provide clear and concise written reports and recommendations
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Clearances: National Police Clearance and Working with Children’s check (Ochre Card)
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams, to encourage others to work together effectively and develop innovative ideas
- Relationships: Exceptional ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. Networking, marketing and business development expertise
- Communication Skills: Highly developed interpersonal, communication and relationship skills with the ability to provide advice at a strategic level
