The Role:

The Senior Coordinator is responsible for leading a dedicated team of Reintegration Coordinators, enabling them to support people reintegrating back into society. The Senior Coordinator supports team members in empowering participants to transition out of prison and back to the community.

Reporting to the ReLink Program Mgr - you will:

  • Provide regular supervision to team members
  • Have responsibility for supporting the wellbeing and developments needs of team members
  • Conduct reflective practice sessions with individuals and groups of team members
  • Ensure team members meet all reporting requirements
  • Mentor and provide leadership to the team on a day-to-day basis
  • Work collaboratively as a Senior team with the Program Manager to support team meetings and projects
  • Ensure support provided to participants is delivered in a manner consistent with the values of Vacro
  • Develop relationships and liaise with stakeholders including other professional supports, community service organisations, prison staff, and participants’ personal supports
  • Use collaborative processes to share and communicate information

  • have a positive track record supporting people with complex presentations including complex health and physical needs
  • Possess Relevant qualifications and/or experience in Community Services/Case Management (or equivalent)
  • are experienced in leading a team and supervising the work of others
  • possess a current Victorian Driver’s License
