Navigator is a program funded by the Department of Education which aims to support disengaged learners aged 12 to 17 years old to re-engage with an education or training pathway. Jesuit Social Services delivers Navigator in Hume Merri-bek, Brimbank Melton, North Eastern Melbourne Areas and Inner Eastern Melbourne areas in partnership with the Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency and works closely with local schools, services and the regional Department of Education office.

An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably experienced and qualified individual to take on a dual Intake & Assessment and Active Hold role within the Inner Eastern Melbourne Area team. The role is responsible for actioning and triaging referrals to the Navigator Program, as well as providing phone-based support to disengaged learners and their families, whilst developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across a range of sectors.

The position is based in Brunswick and utilises outreach.
