The Fundraising team is responsible for engaging with new and existing stakeholders to generate independent income to support the strategic direction of the organisation.
The Strategic Communication team works closely with Policy department to join participant voice, practice wisdom and policy advocacy to raise public awareness of the challenges faced by our participants and the changes needed at a government level to improve outcomes for the whole community.
This exciting role will help shape communications across the growing organisation to support advocacy, generate positive media, promote services and support fundraising initiatives.
The role will report directly to the Executive Director Advocacy and Strategic Communication and will work closely with the General Manager Policy to draw together practice wisdom, participant experience and policy work to craft engaging communications on a range of key issues.
To be successful in the role you will have demonstrated experience developing and implementing creative and strategic communications plans in a complex environment. You will have experience managing a high performing team in a fast paced environment and a sound understanding of a range of social justice issues.
This person will be creative, energetic and sympathetic to the values of the organisation.
This is a part time role (4 days per week) with a flexible work arrangement to be negotiated with the successful candidate. This is 12 month position.
