Karralika Programs Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation providing an extensive range of specialist alcohol and other drug services to the Australian Capital Territory community and surrounding New South Wales for more than 40 years.
We are looking for 1 full-time case manager who has experience working with people who have alcohol and other drug issues.
The available position works within a multi-disciplinary team with staff from both Karralika Programs and Corrections, providing one on one case management and facilitation of the group program, Solaris, with detainees recovering from problematic alcohol and other drug use within a correctional setting.
Operating in a dedicated 28-bed wing within the Alexander Maconochie Centre (AMC), male detainees voluntarily participate in the modified 16 – 20-week Solaris Therapeutic Community rehabilitation program.

As a Karralika Programs Inc. Case Manager, you will have solid experience in case management and therapeutic interventions including facilitating groups and one-to-one sessions. You will require a minimum Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs or an equivalent qualification in fields such as mental health or community services however significant, on the ground experience in working with people with complex needs is required. Successful applicants may work across our various programs and sites including; Justice services, Residential Services (either Adult or Family programs) or Community Services.
We also strongly encourage applications from individuals with broader specialist expertise in supporting clients with complex needs including those who have counselling, mental health, welfare or social work qualifications and experience. Experience in working within and/or knowledge of the therapeutic community model is an advantage but not essential.
