Kids First Australia is waiting for you! We are looking for a manager to embed innovation and design thinking across the organisation to help us achieve our purpose of improving life trajectories for children and young people.

Your new role

The Manager, Innovation & Service Design oversees Kids First's Innovation Incubator. The Incubator supports the whole organisation using research, design, and evaluation methodologies to ensure existing and new services have impact.

Managing Innovation & Service Design at Kids First will look like:

  • Using the art of crafting innovative service experiences through research, insight generation, and iterative design.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deeply understand service delivery, how to improve it, and recommending where we should focus our efforts as an organisation.
  • Overseeing and contributing to innovation and design projects that help Kids First achieve its vision.
  • Providing internal consultation and upskilling to Kids First subject matter experts and leadership to embed innovation principles into our work.

About you

Whether you possess tertiary qualifications or boast over five years of experience in innovation and design, combined with a demonstrated track record in leadership and exceptional facilitation and written communication skills, we are eager to welcome someone of your caliber to our team.
