Sanctuary Aus would love to hear from experienced Behaviour Support professionals. Experience in working with children and families is highly desirable for these positions.

Our Behaviour Support Specialists provide two main services for our client group: children/young people using challenging behaviours:

1. Providing Positive Behaviour Support Services to children and young people on a regular weekly or fortnightly basis and teaching parents/carers and other professionals how to best support the child's needs; and
2. Developing and Implementing Behaviour Management Plans for children.

Sanctuary Aus provides a holistic service: focusing on the child's relationships, attachment-style, developmental progress, skills acquisition, sensory needs and emotional awareness and regulation skills. From this position we can ensure we are viewing the child's challenging behaviours as their communication of underlying needs, rather than seeing the child as the problem. We use Positive Behaviour Support tools and practices to compliment our holistic approach.
