ABOUT KTF:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

KTF is looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join the team in KTF Head Office at Balmain, Sydney (Hybrid, min. 3 days in the office), reporting to the Finance Manager. The role is a full time 12-month contract position with potential for extension.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinating bank deposits, direct debits, day-to-day transactions, and bank reconciliations.
  • Coordinating credit card expenses and reimbursements.
  • Coordinating accounts payable & receivable.
  • Coordinating records and receipts.
  • Assisting payroll and superannuation processing.
  • Assisting month-end report, year-end report, and budgets.
  • Assisting programs monitoring, requirements and reporting.
  • Assisting audit process.
  • Assisting compliances requirements to ATO, ACNC, ANCP, DFAT and IRC.
  • Updating finance and operation policies & procedures.
  • General office admin & operations.

YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, competing priorities and complete assignments within timeframes.
  • Ability to use initiative to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, productive working environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and experience administrating data in Payroll and accounting software. Knowledge of XERO and exposure in managing Payroll is highly regarded.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in an NFP organisation.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.

This position will require travel both domestically and internationally to PNG from time to time.
