For over 40 years Redkite has addressed the psychosocial needs of the children and families by providing emotional, financial and practical support to help them through their cancer journey in hospital and in the community.

Position Summary:

Redkite is seeking a dynamic, collaborative and high performing General Manager of Fundraising to join the executive team and to increase our support for children with cancer and their families. The GM Fundraising will be responsible for driving revenue and creating sustainable growth for all fundraising revenue streams across Redkite and across Australia. This role leads and manages fundraising strategy and capability to ensure Redkite achieves its annual strategy and revenue targets, along with long-term development and sustainability towards achieving Redkite’s vision. The GM Fundraising is a high-profile role that works closely with our board of directors and with our community of engaged supporters across corporate, philanthropic and community sectors.

Qualifications and Experience:

This executive team is seeking a pivotal member with a well-established experience in:

• Proven executive leadership experience in a fundraising or equivalent commercial function with multi-channel income programs.
• Demonstrated people management skills with a focus on performance-driven leadership.
• Proven success in sophisticated stakeholder engagement including with boards, corporate executives and donors.
• Strong abilities in strategic planning, financial management, and proposal writing.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of health sector NGOs and stakeholders in childhood cancer support is advantageous.
• Tertiary qualifications in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
