Our mission is to end homelessness. We aim to get people housed, keep them housed, and be an influential voice on ending homelessness. We are a secular, independent provider of choice for clients and we're striving to be the go-to organisation on homelessness for government, media, philanthropy, private donors and the community.
Our people are the backbone of our organisation and supporting their wellbeing and professional development is critical to our ability to help our clients and the community. We value lived experience and diversity in our staff, and actively work to ensure everyone is able to make their career with Launch Housing fulfilling.
Launch Housing is working to become more trauma informed and as a leading employer in the homelessness sector, it is important to let you know that you will hear stories of distress, hardship, trauma, or violence when working with us. We encourage you to reflect on how this may impact you when considering applying for the role. Sustaining the Health & Wellbeing of our staff is our priority. We provide high-quality training & supervision, Wellbeing Days, and access to an Employee Assistance Program.
Reporting to the Group Manager - Philanthropy & Fundraising, the Fundraising and Donor Experience Manager is a critical role within the Partnerships & Engagement team. This team aims to galvanise communities into action to end homelessness, raise funds for our critical programs, and challenge the stigma that surrounds people experiencing homelessness. This role is central to all these strategies, and through championing the donors’ experience and connecting them to our work, the role aims to enhance donor relations with Launch Housing and to mobilise new and existing donors to take action to end homelessness in Melbourne.
This hands-on position is at the heart of our fundraising strategy and direct donor communication, connecting donors’ passions with impactful giving opportunities using a broad range of fundraising approaches, smart segmentation, digital targeting and brand positioning. The role is detail-focused, looking to build improvements to our CRM (Dynamics 365) to find scale in how we improve donor relations, find marketing automation within a small team, grow fundraising revenue and ultimately, build donor retention and satisfaction.
Pivotal to the success of this role is the ability to pivot between strategic thinking and hands-on operational delivery; creativity and curiosity to try new ideas, and team collaboration working with cross-functional roles to align donor and fundraising efforts with organizational priorities.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity for 38 hours a week.
