Through the new disability services arm of our organisation, Elcies Disability Care, we support people with a disability to participate in the activities they choose and achieve the goals they set for themselves.

We are an open organisation that welcomes and embraces people of all cultures, sexual orientations, gender identity, belief systems and circumstances. We value those circumstances and believe we are united by a shared desire to lead positive lives and be part of a strong, connected, supportive community where no one is left behind.

We have an opportunity for a passionate Senior Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team at grassroots level, and help shape the future of this exciting venture.

We are looking for a dynamic person who will take the lead charge in our PBS business, building the service, attracting clients, and recruiting staff. You will be providing valuable oversight of specialist developmental assessments and intervention programs to address complex issues for people living with disabilities. You will also communicate, coach and foster relationships between the people we support, their families and the EDC employees providing support to contribute to positive outcomes for our clients.

This position is perfect for a leader who wants to make their mark in an organisation, bringing your enthusiasm to develop systems which work for you, staff and the client as well as your commitment to best outcomes for clients.

Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health (Psychology, Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Developmental Educator, Social Work) or related disciplines, and a full drivers licence and vehicle are essential for this position.

If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!

You are required to have an open Driver's license and DHS Working with Children check (don't worry if you don't have that yet, we can assist if necessary).

In exchange for your hard work, the rewards are great. That competitive salary will be yours, along with enviable options for salary packaging. But that's not what you're here for; at the end of the day, your greatest reward will be knowing that you have helped a child find a safe and loving home and therefore improving their future prospects.

Social Justice, Compassion, Inclusion and Commitment.

If these values are true to you and your passion to help create better lives for those that really need it then we would love to hear from you.
