We are seeking an experienced and passionate clinician for the position of Senior Clinician – headspace Morwell. This is a fixed term position to develop and implement a pilot program that increases access to mental health services for vulnerable young people who are at risk or disengaged from the education system.
Headspace & Youth Services is a multidisciplinary team consisting of intake and assessment, clinical triage, mental health clinicians, community engagement, youth work, LGBTIQ, family mental health, AOD and homelessness services.
The project involves working with education providers to identify at risk student in years 11, 12 and tertiary education and provide mental health services in education settings and on an outreach basis. The position will work with the manager to recruit and supervise students from health and related disciplines to deliver the brief intervention clinic.
