As a SHAR Community Engagement Officer you will spend the bulk of your working week, out in the community knocking on doors and engaging with residents in types of accommodation with higher risk of COVID-19 transmission. The role is focussed on providing residents with practical support to stay COVIDsafe including but not limited to, vaccination. You will need to be confident working collaboratively and dynamically with a dedicated team and be prepared to implement new ideas quickly and decisively when circumstances change. This role is an active, community facing role, when the rest of the community locks down, we stand up and work to maintain community safety and comfort in stressful and uncertain times.
