Our financial counselling organisation is seeking a qualified Community Engagement Worker to undertake the following tasks:
- present financial literacy education sessions to groups in various locations across the NSW Northern Rivers region
(NB: full training will be provided in the use of the MoneyMinded set of financial literacy training materials https://moneyminded.com.au/);
- attend interagency meetings on behalf of the organisation;
- assist with development of our community engagement strategy.
The role is for a maximum of 21 hours per week, with the option to work a minimum of 14 hours per week also available. All hours are fully negotiable and can be worked remotely.

- SCHCADS Level 3 to 4 (depending on qualifications)

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Relevant qualification in community development, community engagement, social work or related area
- Experience working in a community engagement/development role
- Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Minimum of two year’s experience
- Knowledge of financial counselling and/or exposure to the financial counselling sector
