About the role

In the Coffs Harbour and surrounding areas we are fortunate to assist a diverse range of people within our Individual Support programs. Due to continued growth within our programs we are seeking Support Workers who have a passion for helping people & who believe they are a perfect fit for our core values.

As a Support Worker, you will be required to:

• Help them to engage with their local communities & culture through access to Community Participation Programs and recreational activities
• Assist with and coaching independent life skills such as cooking & cleaning
• Provide high needs care
• Administer medication

To be considered for these opportunities, you will need the following:

• Demonstrated experience working as a Support Worker
• Current Drivers Licence and vehicle essential
• Shifts will vary between 2-8 hours per day - flexibility to work the shorter shifts is a must
• Experience supporting adults with challenging behaviours
• Be willing to undergo a National Police Check
• Current Provide First Aid HLTAID003 or be willing to obtain
• Current Working With Children Check (preferable)

Desirable, not essential for the role:

• Relevant qualifications in Community Services, Disability Services or equivalent
• Transferable skills and working towards completion of relevant qualifications is favourable

URGENT positions located in:

• Coffs Harbour
• Sandy Beach
• Grafton

You may be required to work a combination of shifts which could include mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
