The purpose of the Clinician role is to give priority to the safety and well-being of children and young people by providing high quality assessment, consultative and referral services to support the permanency goals of children and young people in out of home care.
The Clinician works in a professional multi-disciplinary team in partnership with the relevant government and non-government agencies, children/young people and their families, carers and other stakeholders.
The Clinician will provide assessment, specialist referral, practice support and consultation using the CARE Model with specific emphasis on the principles of trauma informed, developmentally focused and competency centred.
This position is being offered on a permanent full-time basis and can be based from any of the following offices: Robina, Shailer Park, Milton, Ipswich, Toowoomba or Maroochydore. A Tool of Trade Vehicle, including fuel card, will be allocated to the successful candidate as frequent travel to each of these locations is required.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
