About the role

We are currently looking to hire multiple casuals to assist with active nights shifts and/or morning shifts. Opportunities to suit any lifestyle! This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity for you to make a positive change in the lives of People with a Disability.

Working in a team, you will facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes with service users in a positive and proactive environment. You will be actively supporting their individual needs and creating a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow person-centred support plans and behaviour support plans respectfully
  • Participate in community activities and encourage people in your care to perform daily living tasks
  • Track and document progress through thorough record-keeping
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with people in your care and their families

Skills & Experience

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • A current unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence
  • A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals of people with disabilities
  • The ability to develop a positive relationship with service users and to support their Individual Personal Plan
  • Certificate IV in Disability is highly regarded

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
