Joining our Family Based Care team in Nowra, as a Family Contact Worker you will be responsible for facilitating and monitoring safe and meaningful contacts between children, young people, and their families. From time to time, you may also be required to provide youth work, transportation or mentoring to children.
Successful candidates will have flexibility to work on a casual basis across a 7 day shift pattern. Shifts are 2-3 hours in length, and times include morning, afternoon/evening and weekends. So that availability's can be managed, rosters provided on a fortnightly basis.
Please note: Mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations will be required for this position, in accordance with relevant Public Health Orders across all States and Territories. In these circumstances, evidence of vaccination will be required prior to an offer of employment.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
