The Data & Impact Officer provides a pivotal role in demonstrating the Impact of the Foundation’s granting, ensuring strong internal data management practices and undertaking analysis of internal and external data to support and improve the reporting practices across the Foundation.

The key objectives of the role are to:

  1. To provide Foundation senior management data analysis and data insights including preparation of the annual Impact Report.
  2. To maximise the business improvement, learning and knowledge sharing opportunities from the data held by the Foundation in its Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Grants) database, Donor database and other information sources
  3. To collate, track and identify insights from externally available data sources (Public and private) to contribute reports to inform the Foundation strategic planning, community needs analysis and granting practices.
  4. To coordinate data collection and analysis for the Greater Melbourne Vital Signs report as required.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who is organised, eager to learn and passionate about data, data quality and its value in demonstrating social impact. You will be quick to learn and comfortable both working independently and collaborating closely with teammates, to tight deadlines.
