Lort Smith is a Melbourne icon, serving its people and animals for 87 years. We are Australia’s biggest non-profit animal hospital treating over 20,000 animals a year across two locations. Our North Melbourne hospital and clinic provides a broad range of veterinary and emergency services to the community of Melbourne and its surrounds, and our Campbellfield Adoption Centre is a vet clinic and shelter, rehoming surrendered animals.
Our focus is on how we can best support the team at Lort Smith to continue to provide veterinary and animal care to the community.
You’re passionate about health and safety and perform strongly in a fast-paced environment. You have excellent communication skills, a friendly, positive attitude with confidence to engage with staff across all levels and areas, building positive relationships and trust. You have the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, adaptable in your style and work with a consultative approach.
You’re results driven, solutions orientated and able to formulate, articulate and deliver projects to a high degree. You’re hard-working and determined, used to working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You are an independent worker who is able to problem-solve and process information quickly.
