Role overview
- Create a welcoming business environment

Qualifications & Experience
- An ability to attain or have a Certificate and/or tertiary qualification in Office Administration or Business Management,
- Experience that can lead towards proficiency with Office 365 package including Excel
- Willingness to achieve experience in business, finance and administration of a community organisation and capacity to understand the compliance, governance and financial responsibilities of board of management
- Website and social media updates and additions
- Excellent service and professional communication skills
- Knowledge & awareness of relevant legislation Anti-discrimination, Human Rights, UN Convention of Rights for People with Disability Integrity, adaptability, resilience, resourcefulness and outcome orientation

- Position Level 3.3 SCHADS (Social and Community Services) Award, permanent part-time of 20 hours per week, $39.24 per hour
- 9.00 am – 2:30 pm Monday to Thursday with ½ hour lunch
- 12 month contract – subject to government funding – seek to continue – with 6 week probation
Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated capacity to assist manager with reporting requirements with manager and assist staff with collation of database statistics once internal training has been completed.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to oversee and astutely manage numerous tasks, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise, consult and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain a positive work environment that promotes Mackay Advocacy Inc’s endeavours and the principles of social justice and inclusion.
