Our Services

Family Violence: (McAuley Care Program) A 24-hour safe house and children's program providing accommodation and support for women and their children who have experienced family violence, established in 1989.

Homelessness: (McAuley House Program) Medium-term community accommodation for women who have experienced homelessness.

In 2023 McAuley became part of MacKillop Family Services. Mackill strives to ensure all families are supported to provide children with a safe and permanent home, and the best possible start to their lives.

About the role:

The Data and Outcomes Lead has the responsibility of co-designing and implementing systems to support the collection, monitoring, analysing and reporting of organisational data to understand the impact of our work and identify areas for improvement and expansion.

The role reports to the Manager, Innovation & Business Development and will contribute to building an enabling culture for innovation through data, outcome measurement, and quality management.

This is an ongoing Part time 30.4 hours per week opportunity based in Footscray, VIC within our Innovation & Business Development program. The position reports to the Manager of Innovation & Business Development.

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • High level of expertise and experience in the development and implementation of data collection, quality management, and reporting processes, preferably within community services setting
  • Demonstrated capacity in conducting program and project evaluations
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate data effectively to a range of stakeholders
  • Proven organisational skills including the ability to assess priority of tasks and manage own workload
  • Demonstrated high level of communication skills (verbal and written) –ability to communicate with a wide-ranging audience including clients, staff, and community organisations
  • Project management experience with the skills and confidence to work under limited direction
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible, to work proactively and cooperatively in a small team and to build productive working relationships
  • Proficiency using MS office suite and SharePoint and databases (such as Client management Systems)

Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification in in data science or analytics, psychology, social work, commerce, and/or relevant discipline.

Experience

  • 2 years demonstrated experience in a role using empirical, quantitative research techniques will be highly regarded.
