The Foundation is a registered charity that seeks to raise funds to facilitate the mission of the Anglican Church in the Diocese of Melbourne, to enable the Church to think big and dream large about its future. For example, we fund programs which support:

• Food pantries and those who run them;
• Disadvantaged youth, families and individuals;
• Young people seeking real, tangible connections;
• The settlement and assistance of migrants and refugees;
• Arts and culture across Melbourne, particularly choirs, music and visual arts;
• Spiritual care in hospitals and aged-care facilities;
• Seed funding for new churches and congregations, supporting church staff across Victoria

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our dynamic team as Office Co-Ordinator, playing a pivotal role in supporting the Business Manager and Development Manager at the Melbourne Anglican Foundation. This is a part-time onsite position (0.6 EFT).

Responsibilities include maintaining the master calendar and Foundation email account, co-ordinating and attending meetings with the BM and RM, assisting in event management, managing donor communications, and general administrative tasks. You'll also assist with Board and subcommittee logistics, ensuring smooth operations.

Ideal candidates should have a passion for business management and team administration. Experience in the not-for-profit sector and/or church environments is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft systems and social media, along with strong communication skills and attention to detail, is essential.
