Marymead is a well-respected, community based, not-for-profit organisation that has provided a range of support services to children, young people and their families since 1967. Marymead now operates throughout the southern and western regional areas of NSW as well as the ACT with offices in Goulburn, Wagga Wagga, Young, Moruya and Canberra. Marymead is seeking to fill the position/s outlined below.
Marymead are excited to soon be commencing the Regenerate Program which will deliver services in the Eurobodalla Local Government Area. As a Clinical Outreach Worker you will use attachment-informed, strength and relationship based approaches to work with children and young people (CYP) 0-18, and their families. You will provide early intervention to address current difficulties and emerging mental health concerns that may compromise the CYP’s developmental outcomes by working with them and their families to strengthen functioning. The program provides a range of services to children and young people depending on the assessed need including home visiting, counselling, group work, phone counselling and referral to other relevant services.
The Clinical Outreach Worker positions are full time or part time positions and involve service delivery and direct client contact (mostly via telehealth) in the Regenerate program within the Mental Health and Wellbeing unit. These position/s are maximum term contracts until June 2022 with the possibility of extension.
