We’re looking for a creative, progressive and politically engaged social media content creator to join Max Chandler-Mather’s team until the Federal Election. We need someone who’s interested in politics but more importantly understands online audiences and how to engage with them.
Your day-to-day would involve pitching and creating social media content to advance the Greens message, promoting events, adapting all kinds of activities for social media content and heading along to volunteer and supporter events to capture new content.
You’ll feed into our digital strategy, evaluate what’s working and what needs to change.
This role will work closely with our communications team, Max and our broader staffing and volunteer team in Griffith.
This role will require some outside of business hours work, including early mornings, evenings and weekends. We're flexible on part-time or full-time and ideally are seeking 4 days per week (pro-rata) or full time.
Required:
The Greens are an equal opportunity employer. We know that strength comes with diversity and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds. We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as well as people of colour, people with a disability, and those of any religion or gender identity to apply. Even if you feel you do not possess all the required skills or experience for the role/s you’re interested in, we’d encourage you to apply and provide us with information on your other relevant or aligned skills.
Got questions about the role? We’d love to hear from you. Send an email to [email protected] using the subject line: Social Media Creative Content Producer enquiry via EthicalJobs.
