Due to the recent changes within the executive structure at Maxima, we are now seeking an experienced State Manager to support the Chief Operating Officer (COO), and continue to successfully deliver a suite of Maxima’s programs across Victoria, Tasmania and NSW.
As the State Manager for VIC/TAS/NSW, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to the senior leaders and staff across the State, whilst ensuring Maxima’s business objectives are met by driving growth, profitability, and quality initiatives, including the development and maintenance of State based connections within the local areas.
Reporting to the COO and working in close partnership with the Director National Programs, in addition to other State Managers, you will be responsible for setting and maintaining the culture across the State offices and teams, including program performance, budget achievement and business operations for all Maxima business units. This will encompass improving effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery, contract and standards compliance, understanding state based legislative requirements, developing and retaining high-performing teams, customer satisfaction and financial performance.
An influential leader, with proven change management experience, you will understand the importance and requirements of balancing the growth of a business area, whilst managing and coaching a diverse State team; ensuring they are supported and well equipped to achieve results and excellence. You will have at least 5 years of leadership experience across multiple sites with multi-d teams, coupled with strong systems-thinking and analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to determine strategies to identify and solve problems. Tertiary qualifications in business are desirable, however strong financial analysis skills and proven commercial/financial acumen experience driving business growth, profitability, quality initiatives and marketing activities are required.
