Moreland Community Child Care Centres (MCCCC) is a not-for-profit community-based organisation with four centres in Brunswick that offer a quality early learning program based on best practice, to meet the multi-faceted needs of the children in our care. We offer a safe and nurturing environment for children to explore their creativity, intellect, physical abilities, and unique talents. We integrate awareness of environmental and sustainability issues into our education programs by creating centres that have a minimal impact and promote the wellbeing of children and staff. We acknowledge that where we stand is Wurundjeri country and in recognition, we respectfully include Aboriginal Pedagogy in our practice.
Moreland Community Child Care Centres is looking to recruit an Executive Director who wants to make a difference to the children and the families in this diverse community.
This opportunity will see you guide enthusiastic and passionate staff in the provision of the educational program across a number of Child Care Centres, delivering a vision of community engagement, continuous improvement and innovation, in our practices, programs, facilities and all aspects of our services.
Reporting to a Committee of Management, the Executive Director will have the vision, strategic direction and overall management and co-ordination of the service.
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in strong leadership, ideally within a not for profit or early childhood environment, coupled with the ability to implement successful change in order to benefit the Organisation. You will bring an appreciation of the needs of young children and their families and a positive attitude to early childhood education and care services. You will display the energy and enthusiasm required to make a difference and lead the team. In return, this role will allow you to put your stamp on a progressive Organisation that influences from an early age the future community. On offer is a competitive salary package and the ability to be part of an Organisation that is growing and shaping the future.
