One of our key services, CURA Aged Care Services, is where we empower our clients to age gracefully, maintain their independence in the comfort of their homes, and to link with their community. Our tailored support solutions ensure clients remain active, connected, and engaged in their community, while respecting their needs, goals, cultural background, and language. 

About the Role:

As a CURA Care Advisor, you will provide and coordinate a holistic service and case management that promotes a flexible, strength-based approach to clients. In addition, you will play a key role in coordinating services effectively in accordance with WH&S guidelines, Aged Care Standards, and Government service agreements.

What you will do:

You will undertake assessments, support planning, care coordination, and case management activities designed in collaboration with the client to assist them in achieving their goals.

You will also support the clients in managing and monitoring their budget and services provided to ensure these are following relevant service models and guidelines and will be responsive to the chosen lifestyles and cultural backgrounds of clients.

About you:

  • Must hold a Certificate Level IV in Aged/HACC/Health/Social Services.
  • A minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar position
  • Must hold a current Driver’s License
  • Hold a current National Police Certificate or has the ability to obtain one
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation, negotiation, and liaison skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage individual budgets with clients and their stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (listening, written, and verbal), meeting facilitation, and liaison skills.
  • Deliver services with a strong person-centred client-focused approach.
  • Demonstrated high-level computer literacy in the following software: Microsoft Office Suite, databases, Internet, and email.
