The Clinical Paediatrics Group at MCRI is dedicated to optimising the prediction, diagnosis, and treatment of infections in children with cancer. Our team is committed to understanding the impact of the hospital environment on patients and their families, ensuring that our practices are evidence-based and benchmarked to the highest standards.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Conducts ethical research at the highest level of integrity and in line with the Australian Code for Responsible Conduct of Research and MCRI policies
  • Overseeing patient data collection for a number of clinical studies in children with cancer and infection
  • Contribute to ethics and governance applications
  • Contributes to grant applications

What we need from you:

  • Degree qualification in Nursing, Science or related discipline and Applicable Nursing Registration – Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Paediatric oncology nursing experience is desired
  • Good Clinical Practice certificate is highly regarded
