The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Manager/Senior Project Coordinator to join our dynamic Systems Impact team. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of children and families by leading the design, delivery, and expansion of programs that promote relational practices, such as the Empowering Parents Empowering Communities (EPEC) intervention and the Family Partnership Model (FPM). Offered with an initial 12-month contract, there is likelihood for extension.

About your new team

The Centre for Community Child Health (CCCH) is dedicated to improving childhood health and development, with a vision of All Children Thriving. We aim to reduce childhood inequities within a generation. Our Systems Impact team focuses on transforming services and systems to support young children and their families, empowering them to take evidence-informed actions.

Your responsibilities include:

Business Development & funding:

  • Lead the growth and dissemination of EPEC, FPM, and other relational practice programs across Australia.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for research funding to expand the reach of CCCH’s learning and development initiatives.
  • Cultivate relationships with partner organisations to enhance program impact.

Facilitation & Delivery of Content:

  • Design, implement, and manage learning and development products that focus on relational practices.
  • Provide content expertise to support the broader team in delivering high-quality educational offerings.

Team & Operations Management:

  • Lead a team of Senior Project Officers and a Project Officer, providing mentoring, coaching, and supervision.
  • Oversee the team’s budget and project budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Collaborate with other managers to contribute to strategic planning and operational leadership

What we need from you

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD qualification in a relevant field (e.g., public health, education, social work)
  • Expertise in relational practices (FPM, EPEC) with experience in facilitation and program development
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team and budget in a complex environment
  • Proven track record in securing external funding and driving program success
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

The position will be offered at the Manager or Senior Project Coordinator level, depending on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
