Mountains Community Resource Network (MCRN) is the peak organisation for the community services sector in the Blue Mountains.

At MCRN, community is key to everything we do: we live and work in the Mountains, and we firmly believe in the capacity and strength of our residents. Ensuring that our community is an integral part of the conversation is central to retaining the unique character of the Blue Mountains; and to the sustainability, social capital and future of our community.

We are currently seeking a Manager to co-ordinate and oversee the day-to-day running of the organisation and its services: this role will involve facilitating interagency meetings (and acting as secretariat), oversighting operations, annual reporting requirements, etc.

Our long-serving and highly-respected CEO is transitioning to a part-time role, with a view to retirement down the track. This role presents an opportunity for the right candidate to be part of MCRN’s succession plan.

What we need from you

  • A passion to make a difference for the community sector in the Blue Mountains
  • The ability to think strategically at a sector level
  • Proven advocacy skills
  • Experience in managing small teams
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • A commitment to MCRN’s Vision and Mission
  • Strong communication skills – including report-writing, facilitation, and advocacy (at both the local level, and with State and Federal government agencies).
