Muscular Dystrophy Australia (MDA) was founded in 1984 and is the national peak body for those living with neuromuscular disease (NMD) across Australia. Our Mission is to provide practical support and hope to both the muscular dystrophy and other related neuromuscular disease communities.

The Philanthropy Manager will play a pivotal role in securing funding from corporate partners, trusts and foundations and major donors to support MDA’s programs and initiatives. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong grant and proposal writing skills and the ability to cultivate relationships with funders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in the lives of those affected by neuromuscular disease and will have a proven track record in philanthropic fundraising, with corporate partnerships experience highly considered.
