Muscular Dystrophy Australia (MDA) is the national peak body for Australians with neuromuscular disease (NMD). MDA provides practical support, programs and activities to individuals and families affected by neuromuscular disease (NMD).

Reporting to the Head Programs and Impact and working closely with the MDA team, the Program & Activities Coordinator supports the development of programs and activities which support people living with neuromuscular disease throughout Australia. The initial focus is on researching and creating a calendar of social inclusion activities for people based in Victoria and supporting the delivery of national programs.

As our Program & Activities Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in:

• Coordinating and delivering impactful programs and activities for people living with NMD.
• Collaborating with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure programs are meaningful and effective.
• Organising activities that foster connection and inclusion.

What You’ll Bring:

• A background in health promotion, allied health, or a related field (tertiary qualification required).
• At least 2 years of experience in program development within the health or community sector.
• Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
• A commitment to innovation, teamwork, and making a real impact.
