Meals on Wheels is a vital part of many communities across New South Wales. We’re looking for a dedicated Sector Support Team Member to support our member services in the Hunter, Central Coast, Sydney Metropolitan, and Nepean regions.

About the Role

As a Sector Support Team Member, you will play a key role in fostering a collaborative environment among Meals on Wheels services. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing tailored support to Meals on Wheels Management Committees and managing bodies in Sydney, Hunter, and Central Coast areas.
• Facilitating networking opportunities to build strong relationships between member services.
• Sharing essential information and developing resources to support member operations, policies, and governance, based on guidance from the Government Department of Health and Aged Care and other relevant agencies.
• Maintaining an effective partnership between member services and Meals on Wheels NSW.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Criteria:

• Relevant qualifications or experience in community care services.
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexibility in work hours.
• Proficiency in Office 365 and other IT systems.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the designated regions.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience in a Meals on Wheels service.
• Local residency in Sydney or surrounding regions.
• Familiarity with the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP).

Position Details

• Hours: 5 days per week (35 hours)
• Salary: Remunerated under the SCHADS Modern Award - SACS Level 7, Pay Point 1. Salary packaging options are available.
