Medical Workforce Coordinator - Senior Medical Staff

The Senior Medical Staff team is part of the Medical Workforce and Education Unit. The Unit comprises of both a Junior and Senior Medical Workforce teams and the Medical Education team. The SMS team is a small team committed to providing excellent services to facilitate recruitment, credentialing and re-appointment of senior medical staff.

The opportunity:

  • Work closely with the Manger of Medical Workforce – Senior Medical and other key stakeholders to ensure all administrative aspects of recruitment, credentialing and re-appointment are completed in a proactive manner
  • Process Continuing Medical Education (CME) claims and liaise with the Director Medical Governance and Finance as required
  • Address SMS workforce issues as they arise and escalate appropriately
  • Provide a point of contact for all internal stakeholders regarding all SMS employment matters
  • Complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner, including keeping relevant databases up to date

About you:

  • You have experience in office administration within a complex environment
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and high level interpersonal skills
  • Ensuring databases and electronic management systems are kept up to date
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise according to local principles
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
