About Us

Mentis Assist is a leading not-for-profit Community Managed Mental Health Service (CMMHS) established in 1987. We specialise in supporting individuals with severe mental health conditions by delivering flexible, recovery-oriented services. Our mission is to enable people to lead meaningful lives by enhancing their health, independence, and social participation. The CPS program will be delivered under a partnership agreement with Mentis Assist and Kindred Clubhouse.

What You'll Do

• Work within a new dedicated team committed to making a positive impact on the lives of people with mental health issues.
• Provide recovery focused, person-centred wellbeing services to individuals facing mental health and other complex challenges.
• Assist clients by building relationships with specialist services and creating referral pathways.
• Provide Care Coordination to support individual client recovery goals.
• Participate in a supportive and collaborative team environment, ensuring the highest standards of care.

About You

You are an enthusiastic team player who has:

• Demonstrated experience in mental health settings.
• Experience in advocacy, collaboration, facilitation, evaluation, and problem solving.
• Experience working with individuals with severe mental health conditions and other complex issues.

Qualifications Required

• Relevant qualification in mental health/social work/occupational therapy, or other qualifications with demonstrated experience working in a similar role.
• Demonstrated experience working in a community mental health context.

Additional Requirements

• Compliance with National Employment Standards and relevant awards.
• Satisfactory completion of pre-employment screening checks.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Possibility of flexible work hours including weekend and evening shifts.
