The Allied Health Clinician (Speech Pathologist) position sits within the School Readiness Allied Health team, providing paediatric allied health capacity-building support to early childhood education and care services within Seymour and the broader Goulburn region.
The School Readiness Allied Health Program is funded by the Department of Education and aims to support kindergarten educators and the families in their centres to build their capacity to assist young children’s learning in the areas of wellbeing, communication and access/inclusion.
The role will be supported through collaboration with a broader paediatric allied health team consisting of Speech Pathologists, Psychologists and Occupational Therapists.
As a Speech Pathologist in the School Readiness Allied Health team, you will be responsible for providing allied health support to educators and families in order to build their skills in supporting children's communication through coaching, modelling, group training, case consultations and other discipline-specific services.
