About Mental Health First Aid Australia:

Mental Health First Aid(R) (MHFA(R)) is a national not-for-profit organisation focused on mental health training and research. Our core work is to develop MHFA courses, and train Instructors to deliver these courses to their communities or workplaces. Our courses are delivered across Australia and internationally.

About the role:

The IT Help Desk Officer role is accountable for supporting all MHFA ICT systems and tools as well as being an escalation point for the Customer Experience team relating to technical enquiries regarding the WIMS CMS platform. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in building an organisational profile and leading a successful team.

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, networks, and printers
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Escalation of high-risk incidents as appropriate
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
  • Setting up accounts for new users
  • Preparing spare equipment and replacing as necessary
  • Testing new technology
  • Deployment of new devices and technology across the organisation
  • Maintaining documentation such as procedures, processes and standards
  • Ensure minimal downtime or interruption to staff productivity
  • Data backups.

About you:

To be successful in this dynamic role you will have:

  • IT Diploma or equivalent industry relevant qualifications
  • 2 years + of experience supporting Jamf Pro
  • 2 years + of experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 products
  • An understanding of basic IT terms and related concepts
  • Jamf Pro (Apple Device Management)
  • Microsoft Office 365 Administration (incl. Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams)
  • Experience supporting macOS in a corporate environment
  • Experience troubleshooting WiFi/network issues.
