The Mental Health Professionals’ Network (MHPN) is a project funded by the Australian Government to support excellence in multidisciplinary mental healthcare.

MHPN aims to meet this purpose by:

• Connecting primary care practitioners to support improved delivery of multidisciplinary mental healthcare
• Advocating for best-practice contemporary multidisciplinary models of mental healthcare within primary care
• Supporting collaboration of all practitioners within mental healthcare to enable delivery of integrated, multidisciplinary care in a range of mental healthcare settings
• Supporting system change and policy development to improve multidisciplinary care.

MHPN aims to engage mental health and health practitioners in its two key programs: the National Networks Program and the Online Professional Development Program.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Online Program Coordinator is part of the Online Professional Development Program (OPD) team responsible for the design, production and broadcast of MHPN’s online professional development activities.

The OPD team are collectively responsible for each, and every task related to the pre-production, production and postproduction of all of online activities scheduled in the annual timetable. The seamless and efficient delivery of activities is, in no small part, due to the inter-dependence of roles within the small team, and the willingness of team members to work collaboratively.

• Permanent part-time role
• 0.8FTE (ie 4 days per week)
