Micah Projects is a community based not-for-profit organisation with a vision to create justice and respond to injustice at the personal, social, and structural levels in church, government, business, and society.
We believe that every child and adult has the right to a home, an income, healthcare, education, safety, dignity, and connection with their community of choice. Micah Projects provides a range of support and advocacy services to individuals and families.
Family Connections is a new program being trialled by Micah Projects in partnership with The University of Queensland. We are privileged to be able to trial this program across two sites, Brisbane and Caboolture. Family Connections Family Support and Advocacy Practitioners will engage families as collaborative partners in an outcome focused intervention, utilising evidence-based assessment tools to identify critical needs and supports required to keep children safe.
The Family Connections Program is a new initiative which is set to make a positive impact on family’s lives.
As one of our experienced Family Support and Advocacy Practitioners, you'll play a key role in guiding and inspiring families to engage in evidence-based interventions that are outcome focused and assist families to develop support networks and connections.

Fixed term full time (pilot ends June 2026) employment opportunity with conditions and salary at Level 4/5 of the SCHADS Award, depending on qualifications and experience.
