The Community Care Unit (CCU) service provides intensive treatment and recovery support in a residential setting, up to two years, to help people stabilise their mental health and gain necessary skills to transition back into the community from a hospital environment. Clients are provided 24/7 care in line Mind’s Model of Recovery Oriented Practice by a clinical team and Mind staff who focus on developing of social and daily living skills as well as building confidence to live independently.
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Family Engagement Worker for a permanent, part-time (19 hours per week) opportunity to work within a caring team in the Toowoomba area. You will support a dynamic team to deliver positive, person-centred services to clients, families and carers and provide information and meaningful referrals to external providers.
