We are seeking self-motivated, experienced, and compassionate Peer Practitioners for casual opportunities to work alongside a caring team in the Perth Metro area. Candidates must have at least two years of experience in a similar role and lived/living experience of mental health and recovery. You will utilise your experience to engage young people through assertive outreach, coordinate wrap-around supports, and provide our clients with empathetic, positive support.
This role is open to individuals who have a lived or living experience of mental health challenges and recovery and are passionate about supporting others on their journey.
The Youth Psychosocial Support Package (YPSP) is a psychosocial program to support young people aged 16-24 years who have a mental illness, while living independently or in the family home.
The service supports young people through the development of an Individualised Recovery Plan developed in partnership with the young person, their family and carers.
The service will focus on supporting young people to increasingly participate in and contribute to community, social, educational, vocational, employment and economic life.
