Mind Australia is one of the country’s leading community-managed specialist mental health service providers with a range of residential, mobile outreach, centre based and online services. We have been supporting people living with the day-to-day impacts of mental illness, as well as their families, friends and carers for over 40 years.
We provide practical and motivational support that helps people to develop the skills they need to move on, thrive and improve the quality of their lives. It’s an approach to mental health and wellbeing that looks at the whole person in the context of their daily life. Mind is committed to diversity and social inclusion.
The Sub-Acute, short stay Step-Up Step-Down (SUSD) service, is delivered through partnerships with hospital networks whereby clients can access specialist clinical mental health staff 24/7 whilst being supported to enhance connections with family and increase capacity to live in the community. The Adult SUSD provides short term support in a residential setting as an alternative to hospitalisation (step up) or transition from hospital back into the community (step down).
We are seeking a motivated, resilient Service Manager for a permanent, full time opportunity leading and mentoring the SUSD team in the Bundaberg area. You will inspire your team, manage operations and drive high quality, client-centred services consistent with Mind’s Model of Recovery Oriented Practice.
