Your Opportunity

Are you passionate about making a difference and have a knack for driving impactful fundraising campaigns?

Mission Australia is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Appeals Fundraising Specialist to join our team! In this exciting role, you will oversee the implementation of multi-channel, direct marketing appeals and support donor acquisition and retention campaigns across our Single Giving (SG) fundraising portfolio.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Oversee multi-channel acquisition and retention activities, including direct marketing Appeals, donor impact reports, newsletters, and DRTV campaigns.
  • Support the development of and delivery of digital, data, telemarketing, and mail house briefs.
  • Create and deliver email and SMS marketing automation, and support data segmentation and variable content development.
  • Coordinate campaign reporting, post-campaign analysis, and presentation development.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with key internal teams and external providers to ensure the successful implementation of appeal deliverables.
  • Oversee the administration of annual expenditure Budget Trackers, process supplier invoices, and coordinate donor dashboard/analysis reports.

Requirements for Success

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in direct marketing programs, preferably in non-profit fundraising, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRMs, marketing automation platforms, and reporting tools (Dynamics365, Power BI is a plus).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities to liaise with diverse personality types.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills, capable of managing multiple campaigns simultaneously with competing priorities.
  • Solid financial and analytical abilities to manage campaigns within strict budgets, with an understanding of fundraising data segmentation (RFM) highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team, and manage workload priorities independently.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and resourcefulness to deliver quality work.

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
