Your Opportunity

Are you a proactive and organised professional with a knack for strategic planning and business operations? Mission Australia is seeking an experienced Executive Officer to provide top-tier support to the Executive of Housing.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for planning and managing priorities, coordinating events, managing meeting inputs, minuting of meetings, ensuring availability, and leading initiatives that drive business operations and continuous improvement. Join us in making a meaningful impact in the community through dedicated and effective housing support.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Manage, collate and compile Mission Australia Housing, and inputs to Mission Australia, Board papers
  • Organise and manage a range of Housing & Property meetings and forums
  • Lead special projects including resourcing to enable measurable improvement and benefits
  • Develop collaborative relationships with leaders and staff to ensure effective planning and business operation
  • Liaise with government departments, external agencies and other relevant bodies to assist with the achievement of Mission Australia Housing's strategy and purpose
  • Undertake research, assembling and analysing data to prepare reports and papers as requested
  • Develop and produce a range of correspondence including presentations, submissions and reports
  • Proactively case manage and assist in resolving complex or sensitive issues
  • Manage the diary/events and communication for the Executive of Housing

Requirements for Success

  • Extensive experience in providing executive support in a similar sized organisation
  • Excellent critical & creative thinking and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, trouble-shoot and to meet critical deadlines
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage workloads and time sensitive issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in business or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Excellent knowledge and high proficiency, using current office technology, equipment, and computer software packages such as the Microsoft Office Suite
